Woo hoo! On Top Down Under is 2!!!
On October 6, 2014, On Top Down Under Book Reviews will officially celebrate our two year anniversary. It started when two strangers met over the shared love of a book. A friendship was born, and not long after, On Top Down Under was created. Neither of us could have imagined that two years later we would still be going strong and be as close as family. We’ve watched our small site grow and before we knew it, it became what it is today.
The past two years have been very good to us and we want to celebrate our anniversary with you. Throughout the month of October, there will be interviews by some of your favorite authors, guest posts, and several giveaways. We know that On Top Down Under would not be successful without you, our readers and followers, so what better way to celebrate than to make you part of our celebration? We also would not be successful without the authors who write such amazing stories. Thank you to all for your talent and thank you for joining us in celebrating our two years! We’re extremely lucky because we have our friendship outside of the blog. A lot of folks are more than a little surprised when I tell them that no, it’s not just a blog thing. We are genuinely like family outside of it. It’s been a great two years. There have been the turbulent moments (as you mentioned, re: other factors), but in the end, we are who we are and won’t be changing who we are and what we and the blog stand for. Yep, we’re great friends – family in different parts of the world – and then there’s the books and the blog and the people who read our reviews quietly, and those who take part – it’s pretty darn good 🙂
