Candi Kay: 3rd Publishing Anniversary
The above are the first words I believe I read in Taking Lance, and by Candi Kay. The perve in me was intrigued and I happen to know this is the inspiration picture of Lance. Best way to introduce the 3rd publishing anniversary of Candi Kay.
Candi Kay is an author favourite of On Top Down Under’s and on April the 5th she has been publishing for three years and has thirteen titles to her name. In celebration of her third year anniversary of publishing, Candi Kay is offering two of her books free with a code on Payhip and Smashwords. The codes are below – Taking Lance is where Candi Kay’s writing journey all began, and Just Friends is her latest release. Both are reviewed on this blog, the totally NSFW Taking Lance here, and Just Friends is here.
40-year-old Rick, who is bisexual, had to marry a woman or lose a large inheritance from his homophobic father. The marriage is loveless and practically sexless, but he plans to stick it out just long enough to collect his cash. Horny and frustrated, that changes when Rick meets his wife’s 18-year-old son, Lance.
Taking Lance is part one of the Taking Lance series.
Rick and Lance’s story is continued in Keeping Lance.
M/M, M/M/F, M/F, F/F, Older Man/Younger Man, Older Man/Younger Woman, Gay/Bisexual Erotica

Justin and Trent have been best friends for over twenty years. From first loves to first times, they’ve shared everything. Well, maybe not everything, though it’s not from lack of trying on Justin’s part. He’s wanted to get into Trent’s pants since they were in high school but his friend is either oblivious or simply not interested. Both twenty-five, they’re as different as night and day. Justin likes to party and have a good time while Trent is more settled and serious.
They’re secretly head over heels in love with each other.
After seeing Justin with one guy too many, Trent has finally had enough. He pulls a silly prank on his best friend. Sure, it’s childish, but he can’t keep watching the man he loves hook up with random strangers. What happens after can make or break everything. Will it finally push the two together or will their long friendship be over?

I’ve been writing for as long as I could hold a pen (or pencil) and paper in my hand. I’ve been an avid reader since I was a small child. Even now I would rather get lost in a good book than do pretty much anything else. As I read all those books over the years I was constantly thinking about how much I wanted to write them… how I knew I could write them. There have been hundreds of stories written and hidden away over the years but I didn’t start officially publishing until April 5, 2014. While I may still be a newbie of sorts to putting myself out there, I’m by no means a newbie to creating my own worlds and characters. A big nudge from my dearest friend in the world had me publishing my first short story, Taking Lance, and I’ve not looked back.
What I write varies. From bi-erotica, to gay romance, to heterosexual erotica, there’s not much I won’t write. It depends on my mood at any given time, but I do tend to lean toward gay romance. It’s my genre of choice to read and has become my genre of choice to write as well.
