Miles makes one seemingly small and inconsequential decision that turns out to be not so small and inconsequential after all.

3.5 stars!
Sweetness and Strength is about Miles, a guy who is waiting for his blind date—set up by his sister—to show up. The guy doesn’t show up. But that’s okay, because he meets Jordan, the waiter. There’s an attraction between them that leads to a better night than Miles was expecting.
It all happens in one night. The guys meet, have their first date, first kiss and more in the space of one night. It was a bit much for me because the ending was a little bit too sudden for my personal taste. It makes me want more, in a good way, but I was left a little unsatisfied when I finished. I would gladly read a follow up for these two because I would like to see where their relationship goes and I think there could be more for them. At least it felt that way to me when I finished reading.
I liked the writing. It made reading this a lot more enjoyable. And I would gladly read another book from this author, especially if it was a sequel to this.
A copy of this book was provided by Wayward Ink in exchange for a fair and honest review.
This looks like a nice short. Thanks for the review, Trisha. 🙂
