Second ThoughtsSecond Thoughts by Steve Berman
In Berman’s second collection of thirteen stories and essays, a scent of loneliness entices children to start eating away at a caretaker’s historic house; a nursery rhyme tempts a young love; and a meek accountant finds himself abandoning the mundane life he knew to chase after monsters. If you enjoy your speculative fiction with a queer tint, these stories will do the trick.
Second Thoughts: More Queer and Weird Stories
So, like several other GLBT publishers, I write stories. I am not as prolific as most of my colleagues and I tend to focus on short fiction that is weird or dark and fantastical. This is my second short story collection. I hope whoever wins a copy does enjoy my writing.
We have two copies of Second Thoughts to give away either in print or digital editions.

All the stories in this anthology look great. Thanks for the giveaway.

Kinda late to the party, but happy anniversary OnTopDownUnder.

This sounds like an interesting anthology so please put my name into the hat. Thanks

I’d love to win this. I’ll also have to check out Vintage Ghost Story.

Thanks for the giveaway.

Another great anthology. Thanks for the chance to win.

I love stories that step away from the norm. I can tell the ones in this anthology do just that. Awesome giveaway.

I love the sound of this one, and no matter others’ opinion on the matter, I love short stories and flash fiction. I go into them with a different mindset is all and find that tantalizing morsels they offer up sometimes better than a feast. 🙂
