Webcam Interview & Giveaway With Brandon Witt
Today, On Top Down Under has an interview and giveaway with one of Kazza’s favourite authors, Brandon Witt. I have only literally just discovered this author and I’ve now read all of his books to date.
I inadvertently discovered Brandon’s writing when looking through new releases of Dreamspinner Press. Clashing Tempest had just been released, but I noticed it was book #3 in a series so I wasn’t going to read it. But every time I looked at it and reread the blurb, something about it spoke to me, so I requested the three in the series. All I can say is I am so glad that I did because since then I have bought the e-books and I have purchased The Shattered Door, in spite of receiving review copies. This speaks volumes of the esteem in which I hold his writing.
Brandon has very graciously agreed to put himself out there on webcam and take part in an interview that On Top Down Under sent to him for our blog. He is totally charming, open and honest in the interview, and the video is a joy to watch. He is also generously offering a giveaway of one of his books, the Men of Myth paranormal /fantasy series titles – Submerging Inferno, Rising Frenzy, Clashing Tempest, or the standalone cotemporary, The Shattered Door.
All you have to do is leave a comment below to be in the running to win one of these fantastic books.
** GIVEAWAY NOW OVER. CONGRATULATIONS TO VAL FOR WINNING, AND CHOOSING A COPY OF SUBMERGING INFERNO**
Brandon Witt’s bio:
Brandon Witt resides in Denver, Colorado. When not snuggled on the couch with his two Corgis, Dunkyn and Dolan, he can be found tucked away in his favorite coffee shop, nose inches away from the computer screen, fingers pounding the keys. When he manages to tear himself away from the coffee shop addiction, he passionately takes on the role as a special education teacher during the daylight hours.
Dayum. I want in. Can I freak out and love Brett. Because I’d really like to love that.
Jay
Hi, Jay. You can definitely freak out and love Brett, lol.
Because I’m a sap I admit to getting teary while watching this. What a great interview!
A huge thank you to Brandon Witt for taking the time to do a fantastic video interview for us. And thank you to Kazza for arranging it.
🙂
(And I’m seriously lovin’ Brett by the way)
It was my pleasure to organise this.
I’m not a sap, as you know, but I got some…dirt in my eyes a couple of times.
He is a wonderful author and a thoroughly nice man from everything I see.
I’m with you and Jay, Brett looks awfully appealing up there.
😀
Really liked the video interview. He seems like a really nice guy. I also like the sound of the Men of Myth books.
Put me down. 😀
They’re a fabulous series, Cassie. And, yes, he is very charming, isn’t he? Putting you in!
🙂
I’ve seen his name around but haven’t read anything by him yet. After watching his interview, I want to read everything!!! Great interview. 🙂
Same here, Lynn. When Kazza K started reading and reviewing The Men of Myth series I got sucked into the stories just from her reviews. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I hope to read those (as well as The Shattered Door) as soon as time allows.
🙂
I’m morally oposed! …I’m in! 😀
Of course, too much man flesh up there, C@rina. So…I’ll put you in! LOL
Brandon is very engaging and nice on the video. He seems like he would be a sensitive and caring Special Ed teacher. I have the first book of the Men of Myth series but it’s buried deep in my huge TBR pile. Will have to dig it out and move it forward.
Great interview. I have been wondering about this series. Now I think I have to check it out. Thanks gor the giveaway 🙂 Count me in.
Thank you, Val. Brandon was great to interview His books are all worth checking out for sure. Counting you in.
🙂
I’m sure it’s tacky to comment, but I’ve been tacky before. I just had to say thank you for all the sweet, encouraging comments and for taking the time to watch the interview. Again, Kazza, thank you so very, very much. I also LOVE seeing the flesh and blood images of how you picture my men. So much fun!
Love, b
Hi, Brandon, it’s nice to see you pop on into the blog. You’re always welcome. There are some lovely comments, but then we have lovely supporters of this blog.
Trust me when I say the pleasure was all mine creating the pictures to go up there. Thank you for the interview and giveaway.
.
😀
It’s been so wonderful to see the love for the series from you, Kazza. I remember when you posted your Submerging Inferno review and how, and this is just paraphrasing from memory, you were concerned about where things were heading for the next ones. I’m glad you pushed on; it was fun to watch your enthusiasm grow. Thank you for getting Brandon to do a video. Considering he’s allergic to being in front of a camera and doing self-promotion, well done, you. 😉 I appreciate how much Brandon puts out (now now, not THAT) there of himself, not just in… Read more »
First of all, you made me sort out loud when I read ” I appreciate how much Brandon puts out (now now, not THAT) there of himself…” You must know my truly evil mind, Carolyn, lol Now I’ll behave and say how lovely it is to get such supportive feedback for the interview from everyone. He was most generous of his time and support. And, yes, I think Brandon Witt is a terrific writer. He is also a gentleman, and that comes across in the interview. So glad to hear you have read his books You are right, I was… Read more »
Oh, Lord! Carolyn! The trouble you and Kazza could get up together. I love strong, outspoken women! Thanks for always being so supportive, Carolyn.

Ah, yes, there could be trouble indeed.
😀
Thanks to everyone who took part. Congratulations to Val for winning, and choosing a copy of Submerging Inferno. We hope Val enjoys it 🙂
Hi,
I already have the Men of Myth books and started reading the first – discovered courtesy your reviews, Kazza :))
I don’t comment frequently, but just wanted to say that I too loved the interview and that I find Brandon to be very sweet and able to made others emotional with his answers.
Hi Lacri,
I’m so glad to hear that you found the Men off Myth series through my reviews. I hope you enjoy them all.
😀
I agree, the interview with Brandon was heartfelt and he is a very nice person.
