Two ex-lovers, one hotel room, and one random act of technology.
Will they fall out or fall back in love?

I liked this.
I like a good second chance romance when it’s a former couple getting back together, a bit like this story. I also like it when I can feel the connection between the characters and the love is obvious, which is how I felt reading this.
Sheridan and Oliver’s relationship fell apart after Sheridan became preoccupied with his new job and ignored Oliver. They meet up in the hotel where they first met to try and work things out. But things don’t go according to plan. The weekend is a disaster and to make matters worse, they get locked in their room.
I really felt the connection between the characters, even though they weren’t together and even though there was anger between them. I could still tell they cared about each other. At times I just wanted them to work their issues out and reconnect. But I understood they had to really talk about everything first.
Another thing I really liked about this was the fact it wasn’t all one-sided. Both of them wanted the relationship to work, even if it was hard to admit. And the effort was put in to make it work. They were a really nice couple and I was so glad things were starting to look up.
The fact they were in the hotel where they first met, I thought, was very sweet. It made me smile and then when I realized the title of the story was connected to that as well. It left me with a smile on my face.
This has a nice ending. It definitely ends happy. But I see the potential for another story with these guys. I think it would be nice to catch up with them and see how their relationship is going.
There is one thing that I would have liked a little more of is them together from their POV. Don’t get me wrong, the ending was nice. But maybe even a tiny bit more added to experience it with them instead of with a secondary character. I think that would have made this a better story for me.
I can definitely recommend this if you like short, quick reads. Also, if you like a nice second chance romance story, I think you’d probably like this. It’s a 4 star read for me!

It is good when they both want it and work for it. Nice review, Trisha 🙂
Thanks, Kazza! Definitely! It’s nice to see when both seem to want it to work. 😀
